Tutorial: Adding Bookmarks
One of the most useful tools used in browsing the Internet is Bookmarking. Bookmarking allows you to return to those pages you would like to visit again without having to go through the trials of searching for it, or remembering those long URL addresses. This tutorial has been constructed to aid you in bookmarking even when using different browsers.
NETSCAPE
Add a page to your bookmarks:
Click on 'Bookmarks' on your menu bar.
Select 'Add Bookmark'.
MOSAIC
Add a page to your hotlist:
Click on 'Hotlist' in your menu bar.
Select 'Add to Hotlist'.
GLOBAL NETWORK NAVIGATOR
Add a page to your hotlist:
Click the menu bar 'Bookmarks'.
Select 'Add Bookmark'.
LYNX
Add a page to your bookmarks:
Press the a key.
Then if Lynx:
- Asks you if you want to add this link to your bookmark list, press the y key.
- Gives you a choice of download, link, or cancel, press the l key for link.
Remember, to view your bookmarks in Lynx, press the 'v' key. You can then
browse and select from the list.

Add a page to your bookmarks:
Click on 'Hotlist' in your menu bar.
Select 'Add this document'.
NETCRUIZER
Add a page to your bookmarks:
Click on 'Bookmarks' in your menu bar.
Select 'Add Bookmark'.
CELLO
Add a page to your bookmarks:
Click on 'Bookmarks' in your menu bar.
Select 'Add Bookmark'.
WEBEXPLORER (OS2 Warp)
Add a page to your quicklist:
Click on the 'thumbs up' icon.
WINWEB
Add a page to your bookmarks:
Click on 'Bookmarks' in your menu bar.
Select 'Add to Hotlist'.
PRODIGY Web Browser
Add a page to your hotlist:
Click the 'Hotlist' button.
Click the 'Add To Hotlist' button.
Click the 'OK' button.
Click the 'Close' button.
MS INTERNET EXLPORER
Add a page to your hotlist:
Click the menu bar 'Favorites'.
Select 'Add To Favorites'.
AOL Web Browser
Add a page to your 'Favorite Places':
Click the 'Add Favorite Place' button.
Type the name of the page you want to add.
Type the url of the page you want to add.
Click the 'Close' button.
